Beiersdorf reports 5% sales increase for 2012

German group Beiersdorf (BDF) reported preliminary organic sales of €6.04bn in 2012, an increase of 4.7% on 2011. The consumer-business segment grew by 4.9% to €5.05bn and its core brands— Nivea, La Prairie and Eucerin— put in an “encouraging performance”....
