Coach and Givenchy big winners of French FIFI Awards

Givenchy and Coach both scooped two prizes each at this year’s French FIFI Awards

Coach and Givenchy both scooped two prizes each at this year’s French FIFI Awards, which were held last night at a gala dinner in Paris. This year was the 27th edition of the Awards, which recognize perfume excellence and are organized by the Fragrance Foundation France.

There were two new prizes in the Professional Awards category, which are voted on by the industry: Best Women’s Launch and Best Men’s Launch, which rewarded fragrances for their overall marketing mix. Givenchy won in the women’s category for its L’Interdit fragrance, while Coach’s Coach for Men was the winner in the men’s category. L’Interdit was also awarded the prize for Best New Women’s Fragrance, while Coach for Men won the Best Men’s Packaging Design Award.

Also new this year was the Special Prize voted on by the Fragrance Foundation France Board, recognizing an event, person or initiative that elevates the fragrance industry. The prize went to Nez Editions for its books and events on fragrance.

Once again, BW Confidential teamed up with the Fragrance Foundation France to produce a special edition magazine featuring the winners and a special report on the fragrance market in France. To read the special edition, click here.
