The Fragrance Foundation US reveals 2018 award winners

Estée Lauder Companies’ Tom Ford Beauty took home both the Men’s and Women’s Luxury Fragrance of the Year awards at this year’s US Fragrance Foundation Awards, which took place in New York on June 12. Tom Ford was awarded the prizes for its Tom Ford Fabulous (women’s) and Tom Ford Oud Minérale (men’s) scents.

Coty won the Women’s Prestige Fragrance of The Year for Gucci Bloom, while the Men’s Prestige Fragrance of the Year went to YSL’s Y. The Popular Fragrance of the Year was awarded to Glossier’s Glossier You.

Robertet won Perfume Extraordinaire of the Year for Café Tuberosa by Atelier Cologne (L’Oréal). The Breakout Star award went to Replica Beach Walk from Maison Margiela (L’Oréal)  and the Indie Fragrance of the Year was won by Maison Trudon’s Bruma.

The award for Best Vlog, presented for the first time this year, was won by Jeremy Fragrance, for his video 5 Reasons to Wear Fragrance.

Perfume strategist and founder of her eponymous consultancy firm, Ann Gottlieb, was inducted into the Hall of Fame, while Firmenich master perfumer Olivier Cresp was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Perfumer Award. Frédéric Malle of Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle received the Game Changer Award.

A total of 19 winning fragrances were announced across women’s, men’s, home and bath & body fragrance.
