Unilever sales and profit hit by currency effects in first half 2018

Sales in the Beauty & Personal Care division stood at €10.1bn in the first half, a decline of 3.8%

Anglo-Dutch consumer-goods group Unilever’s sales fell 5% to €26.4bn in the first half of 2018. This included an adverse currency impact of -8.9% and 1.9% from acquisitions net of disposals. At constant rates, sales were up 5.7%.
