Japanese group Shiseido’s net profit grew 169.9% to ¥61.4bn ($558.98m) for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2018. The dramatic spike reflects an extraordinary impairment loss in the 2017 financial year for Bare Escentuals in the US, the company said.
