China’s cosmetics retail sales grow 12.9% in May

Total retail sales of cosmetics in China in May grew 12.9% year-on-year to Rmb27bn ($3.81bn), according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China. From January to May, the category’s sales fell 4.9% to Rmb114.9bn ($16.22bn).
