The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has named Amorepacific an Innovation Award Honoree in the health & wellness category for its customized lip make-up manufacturing system.
Called the Lip Factory by Color Tailor, the system uses Amorepacific’s AI-powered mobile app Color Tailor to analyze the consumer’s face and suggest lip product colors. The machine’s pigment dispensing system, the Lip Factory, then makes the customized lip product on-site. Lip Factory by Color Tailor can recommend and produce over 2,000 lip shades.
Amorepacific launched the service in August at its flagship store Amore Seongsu in Seoul, South Korea. The company plans to improve the machine’s algorithm and make it more accessible and convenient for customers.
Amorepacific will showcase the Lip Factory by Color Tailor online at the virtual edition of the CES show from January 11 to 14. This marks the second consecutive year that the company has been recognized by CES with an Innovation Award.
