Dispensing company Aptar Beauty has acquired iD Scent, a French company specialized in sustainable paper fragrance sampling.
Aptar says the deal will expand its portfolio of fragrance sampling solutions with a 100% paper-based product, which is customizable and can be used for e-commerce.
iD Scent was founded in 2004 by Michel Caffon and is said to have expertise in scented paper technology and olfactory long lastingness. The company’s Scentouch product, which has Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification, was launched in 2019.
“iD Scent meets the growing global demand for fragrance sampling that cares for the planet. […] iD Scent’s offerings are made of paper which helps promote recycling. This partnership reinforces Aptar’s commitment to supporting a more circular economy, where packaging materials can be easily recycled,” stated Marc Prieur, President of Aptar Beauty.
