Avolta launches new loyalty program

Avolta CEO Xavier Rossinyol presents the company’s new loyalty program Club Avolta

Travel retailer Avolta announced the launch of a new loyalty program called Club Avolta at a cocktail party this evening during the TFWA Cannes show. Members of Club Avolta can use the program at Avolta’s duty-free, duty-paid and food & beverage outlets in 73 countries.

The program rewards members when they spend at Avolta’s 5,000 points of sale, providing them with price offers, products, experiences and rewards. Members can also receive benefits from airlines, hotel groups and VIP lounges.

For airports, Avolta says the loyalty program will increase both sales and traveler satisfaction. The program is designed to integrate with existing airport loyalty schemes. Meanwhile, the company says brands will benefit from increased awareness of purchasing behaviors due to data gathered.

Club Avolta is being rolled out across all Avolta locations in a transition phase as the company retires current loyalty program Red by Dufry. Current members of Red by Dufry will have their membership automatically transferred to Club Avolta.
