German packaging player bomo trendline has introduced a new airless pump collection called Cairo geared towards products with sensitive formulas.
The Cairo line features a Nozzle Closure System (NCS) which has a closure over the pump’s dispenser. The closure is only opened when the product is being used, which means the product is protected from potential contamination. Additionally, the NCS only dispenses the required amount of product needed thanks to a small dosage system.
The airless packaging system can be used for products with high-value and sensitive formulas like natural skincare creams, body balms, serums and lotions. NCS protects against germs and oxidation, extends a product’s shelf life and offers precise and flexible dosing of up to 0.32ml per dispense. The system also allows for the reduced use of preservatives. The offer is 100% recyclable and all plastics used have FDA and EU DIR approvals for food contact.
NCS is available in three sizes: 15ml, 30ml and 50ml. The standard version is available in white, black, transparent natural and transparent clear. Cairo can de decorated using silk-screen printing one to four colors, hot foil stamping on the container or over the cap, metallization and lacquering.
