On Wednesday night, industry association CEW France held its annual gala dinner for its Centres de Beauté, which provide beauty treatments to patients suffering from cancer and other illnesses.
More than 300 beauty executives attended the gala dinner, which this year took place at the Hotel InterContinental in Paris
Proceeds from the charity dinner go towards funding the treatments that the Centres de Beauté offer.
The dinner marked the closing of the Centres de Beauté’s 30th anniversary year. More than 44,000 beauty treatments were offered to 28,000 patients (80% women and 20% men). The CEW France works with 41 socio-estheticians, two hairdressers and one reflexologist who provide beauty treatments in 47 hospitals in France.
Commenting on the work of the Centres de Beauté, Françoise Montenay, President of CEW France and the Centres de Beauté said: “I have the deepest conviction about the role and the purpose of the Centres de Beauté and the need to constantly evolve to adapt to patients’ expectations and their care in hospital. If we only had one phrase to close this anniversary year, it would be: ‘All this is for the patients.’”
In support of CEW France and the Centres de Beauté, BW Confidential once again this year, published and donated a special booklet, which was distributed at the Gala event. The brochure highlights the work done by the Centres de Beauté and the benefits they bring to patients.
