Chanel puts spotlight on the iris at event in Paris

French brand Chanel is showcasing the Iris Pallida flower, which is used in its scents, at the Jardins Jardin event taking place in the Villa Windsor Park in Paris this week.

The brand created a 300m2 (3,230ft2) garden, ‘L’Iris de Chanel’, at the event spotlighting the iris and highlighting how the flower is transformed and used in its fragrances.

The iris is used in the brand’s N°5 Extract, N°19 and in La Pausa and Comète, part of Chanel’s Les Exclusifs collection.

The event is open to the public from May 30 to June 2.
