Charles-Henri Bourgeois dies in tragic accident

It is with regret that BW Confidential reports that Charles-Henri Bourgeois, who helped create the MakeUp in trade shows for the color cosmetics industry, has died in a tragic accident.

Bourgeois died on Tuesday June 14, following an accidental fall during an excursion in the mountains. He was 36.

Bourgeois helped create and develop the MakeUp in trade shows in conjunction with the event’s founders, his father Jean-Yves Bourgeois, and Sandra Maguarian.

MakeUp in launched in Paris in 2010 and developed international editions in the US and Asia. The 2022 edition of MakeUp in Paris is taking place this week.

“Charles-Henri was courageous, determined, generous, had tremendous empathy and showed great benevolence towards others,” Jean-Yves Bourgeois, commented in a statement.
