Chinese manufacturing activity rebounded in March, according to government data.
The official purchasing managers index (which asks companies to state business performance compared to the previous month) rose to 52.0 in March, up from a record low of 35.7 in February.
However, while factories are getting back to work in China, they also face lower demand due to lockdowns in other parts of the world.
