Japanese brand Decorté (Kosé) highlighted its Kimono fragrance collection with a special experience focused on traditional Japanese kimono culture at La Samaritaine department store in Paris at the end of May.
The experience included a Japanese calligrapher who wrote personalized messages on branded Decorté fans and featured counter staff wearing traditional kimonos.

The Kimono collection is made up of water-based colognes. The fragrances contain natural rose essence and are based on a “Japan Accord,” an ingredient the brand says represents the Japanese spirit. The fragrance bottle is adorned with a ribbon, reflecting the obi of a kimono.
Decorté recently launched a new 15ml format of the fragrances (in addition to the original 75ml format), as well as a limited-edition scent.
The collection now includes three water-based colognes called Kimono Hikari, Kimono Mai, and the new limited-edition scent, Kimono Sakura.
Kimono Hikari is a green floral scent containing pear and hydrangea, while Kimono Mai features vanilla and Japanese tea. Kimono Sakura is a floral fruity musk fragrance with cherry blossom.

The collection also includes five eaux de toilette called Kimono Yui, Kimono Tsuya, Kimono Kihin, Kimono Urara, and Kimono Rin. There are also body lotions and hand creams.
The water-based colognes are priced at ¥3,300 ($20.64) for the new 15ml format and ¥9,350 ($58.49) for 75ml.
The eaux de toilette are priced at ¥3,740 ($23.40) for 15ml and ¥9,350 ($58.49) for 50ml. The body lotion is priced at ¥5,720 ($35.78) for 200ml and the hand cream retails at ¥3,520 ($22.02) for 30g.
