Dolce&Gabbana is to relaunch The One fragrance with a major ad campaign starring singer Madonna and actor Alberto Guerra, and shot by Mert Alas.
Madonna delivers a rendition of “La Bambola” by Patty Pravo, which was recorded exclusively for the campaign and sung in Italian.
Dolce&Gabbana has relaunched The One line with two new fragrances and updated packaging. The One was first launched 20 years ago, in 2006.
The two new fragrances are called The One Intense, created by Givaudan’s Quentin Bisch, and The One Pour Homme Parfum, composed by IFF’s Jean-Christophe Hérault.
The new fragrances are inspired by the line’s original scents, The One Eau de Parfum and The One For Men Eau de Parfum, but are more intense and spicy. Both the new and original fragrances are housed in redesigned bottles finished with a gold cap for the women’s fragrances and a brown cap for the men’s fragrances.
The One For Men Eau de Parfum has also been updated by Hérault with the brand saying it now has an enhanced diffusion and longevity. The opening note of tarocco orange has been intensified by grapefruit and cardamom, while the base also features enhanced amber accords.
