German beauty retailer Douglas has launched an international Christmas campaign with the tagline “Gift the Douglas Feeling”. The campaign is inspired by beauty gifting. It was developed in collaboration with the creative agency Jung von Matt and shot by photographer Esther Haase and film director Giada Bossi.
In the campaign, Douglas emphasizes its brand color, with mint-colored gifts a recurring element in all visuals. The campaign will be featured internationally online and offline – including TV, print, out-of-home, online and stores.
The campaign will include local events throughout December. In Düsseldorf, Germany, there will be a Douglas booth at the Christmas market with activations by different brand partners. Douglas will also host a hot chocolate pop-up in collaboration with Café Buur at the Königsallee. Customers will receive hot chocolate creations by brand partners and gift vouchers that can be redeemed at nearby Douglas stores. Finally, at the start of December, Douglas will invite influencers to a Christmas event.
