dsm-firmenich names new Fine Fragrance President

 

Flavor and fragrance company dsm-firmenich has appointed Jonathan Simon as President of its Fine Fragrance business, effective July 1.

Simon replaces Jerry Vittoria, who will retire from the company on July 1, 2026, after 35 years. The handover between Vittoria and Simon will take place over the coming year

Simon, a dual citizen of France and New Zealand, is currently Vice President, Procter & Gamble account at dsm-firmenich.

Simon joined dsm-firmenich in 2020 for P&G Global Beauty Care. Since 2024, he has been global leader of the P&G account.

Prior to dsm-firmenich, Simon spent 12 years with L’Oréal, starting his career in fine fragrance creation for Lancôme, Viktor & Rolf and Cacharel. He then moved to the L’Oréal Paris brand.

Simon will be based in dsm-firmenich’s Paris office.
