Dwayne Johnson launches personal-care brand

Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has launched a personal-care brand called Papatui.

The line includes skin, hair, body, and tattoo care for men that are accessibly priced at between $7.99 and $9.99. Products include an oil-free face moisturizer with a matte finish; a deodorant that claims to protect against sweat and odor for 48 hours; tattoo care that claims to both moisturize and brighten ink design; and a toner to help with exfoliation, skin hydration and pore tightening.

The products’ formulas include ingredients such as ceramides, hyaluronic acid, niacinamides and salicylic acid. All products are formulated without parabens, sulfates, dyes, alcohol and PEGs.

Johnson and his team collaborated with fragrance house dsm-firmenich’s Principal Perfumers Frank Voelkl and Clement Gavarry. The body and haircare products are available in three scents: Sandalwood Suede, Lush Coconut and Cedar Sport.

The collection is available on Papatui’s website, as well as at Target stores from this month.
