US beauty company e.l.f. Cosmetics has partnered with Universal Music Group and Brands for its cosmetics contest Beautyscape.
Beautyscape, which is in its fifth year, invites users to submit make-up looks via Instagram to win a chance to help create e.l.f.’s next cosmetics and skincare collection. Three winners, chosen by the public and a panel of judges, will be announced on October 5.
Singer Tove Lo will work with one of the winners in creating products, while Latin singer Pitizion and R&B artist Tiana Major9 will lead the other product collections with two winners.
Members from non-profit organization Girls Inc. will also participate in the product collaboration process.
This year’s Beautyscape will include a series of digital classes for the winners and Girls Inc. alumnae. Classes will cover cooking and make-up techniques taught by chef Kia Damon, 305 Fitness founder Sadie Kurzban and celebrity make-up artist Michael Anthony.
