The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has named Matthieu Cheyrou Vice President/General Manager of Clinique, Travel Retail Worldwide. He will join the company’s Travel Retail Leadership Team.
ELC has also appointed Tracy Xu Vice President/General Manager of Origins, Aveda and Lab Series, Travel Retail Worldwide. She will also join the company’s Travel Retail Leadership Team.
Both appointments went into effect January 1, 2023.
Cheyrou reports directly to Travel Retail Global President Israel Assa, with a matrix reporting line to Clinique International Global Senior Vice President/General Manager Bart Sayer. Prior to joining Clinique, Cheyrou was Marketing Vice President for the Estée Lauder brand in Travel Retail Worldwide.
Meanwhile, Xu will report directly to Assa, with matrix reporting lines to Origins International Vice President/General Manager Michael Marcano, Aveda International Senior Vice President Amanda Le Roux and Darphin Paris and Lab Series International Executive Director Edouard Marchand.
Xu was previously Marketing Executive Director for the Bobbi Brown brand in Travel Retail Worldwide.
In June 2022, Xu also took on the role of Acting General Manager, Origins, Aveda and Lab Series, Travel Retail Asia Pacific, where she managed distribution planning, post-Covid re-opening strategy and retailer partnerships.
