ELC makes travel retail appointments

The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has made new appointments at its travel-retail division.

The company has named Eric Lee Travel Retail Worldwide Business Development and Strategy Senior Vice President, effective September 6. Meanwhile, Patrick Bouchard has been named Travel Retail Worldwide La Mer and Le Labo Senior Vice President/General Manager, effective September 1.

Lee will report to Sean Perry, Senior Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis, Travel Retail Worldwide, and join the Travel Retail Leadership Team. He will be responsible for five teams: The Innovation and Education Hubs, Strategic Pricing, Business Intelligence & Analytics, and Strategy and Business Development teams. Lee previously worked on ELC’s Corporate Strategy team as Vice President, Corporate Strategy.

In Bouchard’s new position, he will report directly to Travel Retail Worldwide Global President Israel Assa, with a matrix reporting line to La Mer International Senior Vice President YoeGin Chang and Le Labo Global Marketing, International, and Education Senior Vice President Valerie Piana. He succeeds Karen Housman, who was named ELC Travel Retail Asia Pacific Senior Vice President/General Manager.

Bouchard was previously ELC’s Travel Retail Worldwide Global Client Management Vice President. He will relocate from Switzerland to New York for the new position.
