
The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has named Lisa Sequino President, Makeup Brand Cluster, effective June 9. Sequino will report to Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Executive Vice President, Chief Brand Officer.
Sequino was most recently CEO of Supergoop!. Before that, she was CEO of singer Jennifer Lopez’s beauty brand, JLo Beauty.
The appointment marks a return for Sequino to ELC. She previously worked for nine years at the company in senior roles including Senior Vice President and General Manager of Estée Lauder – North America and later Senior Vice President, Brands – North America.
Sequino will oversee the company’s portfolio of make-up brands, including MAC, Bobbi Brown, Too Faced, Smashbox and GLAMGLOW. ELC says the appointment reflects its continued investment in strengthening its make-up category.
Sequino said: “There’s tremendous opportunity to reach new make-up consumers globally by accelerating innovation and trends, fast-tracking consumer acquisition across channels, driving digital and social media, and assuring local relevance to win with today’s makeup consumer.”
