ELC promotes Jane Hertzmark Hudis and Stéphane de La Faverie

ELC executive group president Jane Hertzmark Hudis, ELC executive group president John Demsey and ELC group president and global brand president, Estée Lauder and Aerin, Stéphane de La Faverie

The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has promoted Jane Hertzmark Hudis to executive group president. Her portfolio of brands will include Estée Lauder, La Mer, Bobbi Brown, Aerin, Origins, Aveda, Bumble and bumble, Dr. Jart+ and Do The Right Thing. She will continue to report to ELC president and ceo Fabrizio Freda.

The group has also appointed Stéphane de La Faverie to group president. He will also continue serving in his role as Estée Lauder and Aerin global brand president. As group president, de La Faverie’s new portfolio of brands will include: Jo Malone London, Aramis and Designer Fragrances, Le Labo, Darphin, Lab Series, By Kilian, Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, Rodin olio lusso and Prescriptives.

He will report directly to Freda in his group president position, and will continue to report to Hudis for his global brand president responsibilities for Estée Lauder and Aerin.

Executive group president John Demsey will see his portfolio of brands evolve. He will continue to oversee MAC Cosmetics, Clinique, Becca, Too Faced, Smashbox, Glamglow and Tom Ford Beauty, and will serve as a key adviser to the company’s new brand integration process. He will also continue to lead the Creative Organization and report directly to Freda.
