Elf first-quarter 2018 sales grow on Ulta expansion

US-based cosmetics brand Elf saw a 9% increase in sales to $65.9m for the first quarter or 2018, driven by its roll out to the Ulta chain.

Net profit however, came in at $690,000 compared with $2.16m in the prior-year period.

The company re-affirmed its outlook for 2018. It is forecasting sales of between $286m and $291m, growth of 6% to 8% over last year.
