Esxence, the specialist show for artistic perfumery, has opened today in Milan, Italy.
The 13th edition of show, which will run until April 2, will host more than 280 brands from 30 countries, with both established perfume houses and emerging startups present. Exhibitors were qualified for entry by an expert technical committee.
Highlights at the show include roundtables, workshops, presentations and olfactory itineraries with experts such as Michael Edwards, author of Fragrances of the World, and anthropologist and perfume expert Annick Le Guérer.
There will also be a Creative Flavors & Fragrances workshop, IRIDESCENT game, a presentation from Essencional Study Centre about how the sector is evolving through the analysis of searches, keywords and social conversations, as well as an Experience Lab, where visitors find out about new brands
