Barcelona-based fragrance house Eurofragance has named Joan Pere Jiménez as its new CEO from 2026. Jiménez is currently Chief Market Officer.
Current CEO Laurent Mercier will continue to lead the company until December 31, 2025, and will assume a new role on the board of directors starting in 2026. Mercier joined Eurofragance in 2013 and has been CEO since 2018.
The company says that the succession process has been planned since 2023.
Jiménez has been with Eurofragance for over 10 years. He joined the company as Chief Operations Officer and has held various positions of responsibility within the Management Committee, including General Manager for the Europe, Africa and Turkey region through 2021, and later for the Asia Pacific region until the end of 2023. Since January 2024, he has been Chief Market Officer, a role he will retain until the end of 2025.
Eurofragance said that under Mercier the company has undergone a major transformation and invested in innovation, which led to the development of its first proprietary ingredients.
