French fragrance house Expressions Parfumées has unveiled a series of portraits of its nine perfumers by photographer Stéphane de Bourgies.
The initiative aims to highlight and pay tribute to the company’s perfumers. In addition, the portraits are part of a wider campaign by Expressions Parfumées to promote French perfumery in France, Europe and internationally.
De Bourgies’ black-and-white, stripped-down portraits are meant to reflect the character traits, inspiration and techniques of each perfumer.
Expressions Parfumées claims to be one of the few fragrance houses to have been founded by perfumers.
