French industrial subcontractor and manufacturer Fareva and Italian cosmetics manufacturer Chromavis are partnering to develop skincare formulations, with a focus on for the high-end market.
With the collaboration, the companies say that they are looking to explore new formulation possibilities. They add that technologies such as geltrap, solid-to-serum and thermo-gel systems will enable a range of texture transformations and sensorial effects. These technologies can then be combined with functional ingredients, including eco-collagen, plumping tripeptides, fermented plant-derived sugars and biotech-derived vegan PDRN to provide skincare benefits.
This approach is reflected in concepts ranging from cryo-inspired and shake-activated formulas, to transformative textures and hybrid formats, with a focus on combining product performance and sensory experience.
