Fiabila unveils new products

France-based nailcare specialist Fiabila has unveiled a string of new products with a focus on premiumization, formulas with skincare-like properties for the nails and differentiated packaging.

The company says it has strengthened its packaging team in a bid to offer value-added formula +pack solutions, taking into account material compatibility with formulas, perceived value, user experience and sustainability. It has also sought to provide new application techniques, such as replacing a classic dropper with a bottle featuring a press-button for precise dosing, a rotary twist brush, roll-ons, and a pump bottle that transforms gels into foams.

The company’s new products include:

Universal Nail Cure, which is described as a genderless undetectable nail perfector that claims to regenerate, protect and strengthen the nail plate, while creating a natural matte finish with no polish effect. The formula contains 1.5% active ingredients and produces an ultra-fine matte texture that is said to imitate a freshly polished nail. The company adds that there is visible improvement in nail quality over time. It comes in a frosted glass bottle with a 97% PP-PCR cap and a brush.

Protein Kerapy is billed as offering a skincare-like treatment for nails. The treatment ritual consists of applying one coat of protein-rich serum per day for three consecutive days a week for three weeks. Inspired by food supplements, the treatment claims to gradually deliver active ingredients to help restructure and restore weakened and damaged nails. It comes in a glass bottle with a 97% PP-PCR cap and a brush

Protein Kerapy

The Pro’ Nail Cream Remover, which Fiabila says is in line with the premiumization trend in nail polish removers and demand for new formulas, textures and gestures. The product is a cream version of the Pro’Nail Gel Remover and has sweet almond oil (5%) to nourish the nails and cuticles. It is suitable for Fiabila UV Gel formulas. It comes in an aluminum tube in a bid to offer a new format that is easily portable.

In terms of effects, the company has come up with four new products. Lagoon Sheen offers pearlescent shades that are free from titanium dioxide and offer shimmering layers that reflect light. Fairy Gleam has a transparent, adjustable gloss effect that catches the light with a subtle finish and can be applied to bare nails or added to color. Pastel Blush offers a palette of soft shades, from light pink and apricot to lavender with a cloud-like powder finish. Shellsea Aura is a combination of iridescent, color-shifting pigments in shell-inspired shades

Citing data from Spherical Insights, Fiabila says that the global nail beauty market will reach $35.21bn by 2033.
