Swiss flavor and fragrance company Firmenich has named Sarah Reisinger Chief Research Officer, effective July 1. She will report to Firmenich CEO Gilbert Ghostine.
Reisinger succeeds Geneviève Berger who will stay on at the company as a Strategic Advisor to the CEO before her retirement on December 31.
Reisinger joined Firmenich in 2018 as Biotechnology and Process Engineering Vice President, and in 2020 was named Research Operations Senior Vice President. She has also worked at biotechnology companies Ginkgo Bioworks and Intrexon, in addition to US-based chemicals company Amyris.
