Swiss flavor and fragrance company Firmenich has opened its third Fine Fragrance Atelier, in Grasse, France. The Villa Botanica will showcase natural ingredients and aims to offer customers and creators the opportunity to collaborate and co-create.
Villa Botanica, on the hill of Peyloubet above Grasse, is a 40,000m2 (430,556ft2) site, with gardens, creation workshop and a reception area. It will feature gardens with the essences of Provence and greenhouses planted with natural ingredients from around the world, from rose Centifolia, mimosa and lavender to vetiver, cinnamon, patchouli or ylang.
Villa Botanica will formally open in spring 2021. It is Firmenich’s third Fine Fragrance Atelier, after Sao Paulo in August 2019 and Shanghai in September 2019.
