Beautigloo Founders Clara Lizier and Florian Ménard

French start-up Beautigloo has raised €2.7m in its first funding round. Investors include business angels brought together by the family office of Eukratos, Gemme Ventures investment fund, BPI France and the Banque Populaire.

The funds will be used to expand Beautigloo’s product line and hire new employees. The start-up also also plans to continue expanding in Europe, the US and Russia.

Founded by Clara Lizier and Florian Ménard, Beautigloo specializes in the electro-beauty sector. After two years of research and development, the start-up launched its first product, the Refrigerated Beauty Box, a patented cosmetic refrigerator for storing beauty products that is said to preserve the freshness of cosmetics and maximize their efficacy.

Beautigloo said its revenue tripled in 2021. The brand is active in both the B2B and B2C space, and works with companies such as Biologique Recherche, Dior and L’Oréal.
