Swiss company Givaudan has opened a digital facility in China. The new space is located at Givaudan’s Shanghai Fragrance & Beauty site and will be used for the company’s Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty businesses.
The facility, which the company calls its Digital Space, will be used by Givaudan’s digital innovation teams to work alongside regional and local business teams to co-create products and services.
Givaudan Business Solutions Head Anne Tayac said the space will also allow the company to manage quickly changing customer trends and deliver on local initiatives. The Digital Space features a Sensory Hub, described as a multi-sensorial experience for the creation of instant samples, and the Virtual Reality room.
The Shanghai Digital Space complements Givaudan’s Digital Factory in Paris, which opened in 2019.
