Gotha Cosmetics names Paolo Valsecchi CEO

Gotha Cosmetics CEO Paolo Valsecchi

Italian company Gotha Cosmetics has named Paolo Valsecchi CEO. He succeeds René Baaring.

Valsecchi was previously CEO of Italy-based packaging company Lumson. He also worked at cosmetics manufacturer Intercos for 17 years, where he held various leadership positions including Managing Director Europe and Senior Vice President Global Industrial Operations.

In his new position, Valsecchi aims to expand Gotha into new product categories and geographically.

Founded in 2005, Gotha Cosmetics manufactures color cosmetics. The company has commercial teams in Paris for the EMEA region, in addition to teams in the US on the east and west coast.

Gotha says it will report a turnover of more than €50m in 2021.
