HatchBeauty Brands acquires consumer analytics platform Trendalytics

Los Angeles-based beauty and wellness incubator HatchBeauty Brands has acquired consumer analytics platform Trendalytics.

Trendalytics aggregates data across search and social platforms and identifies consumer trends in the fashion and beauty industries. The platform’s partners currently include US beauty retailer Ulta Beauty, fashion brand Free People and discount store chain Ross Stores.

HatchBeauty says the move will help it better identify consumer needs. HatchBeauty has partnered with Trendalytics since 2019, and the the platform has contributed to its trend and product development research.

Trendalytics will become a subsidiary of HatchBeauty.

HatchBeauty was founded in 2009 and created HatchBeauty Brands in 2019. It claims to be one of the first companies to offer both beauty and wellness incubation under one roof. Its current portfolio includes: NatureWell, Found Active, Found, Orlando Pita Play, Baby Phat Beauty, Lique, Tattoo Junkee, Remi Rose and BE Beauty Essentials.
