BW Confidential is pleased to announce that Jun Dong, Managing Director of Tmall Global Beauty, Alibaba Group, is to be a speaker at the new Beauty Tech Live virtual event set to take place from April 12-16, 2021.
Beauty Tech Live is the first B2B Virtual Expo & Conference that will bring together tech products, solutions and services for the beauty industry in one place. It will also be a forum for executives to share new ideas, inspiration and experiences in the area of beauty tech. The event is organized by BW Confidential in partnership with the Moodie Davitt Virtual Expo Company.
Jun Dong is Managing Director of Tmall Global Beauty, Alibaba Group, including Strategy Development, Store Operations, Digital Marketing, CMR and Merchandising.
She took on this role in October 2018 and since then has given a new face to Tmall Global Beauty, especially in the area of fulfilling Chinese Gen Z consumers’ needs and expectations.
Dong joined Alibaba Group from Procter & Gamble, where she held various leadership positions in beauty across Asia and Europe. Dong has 16 years’ experience in brand building in Asia and the Chinese market. She is specialized in beauty and retail, covering upstream innovation, brand architecture and brand campaigns with social and digital activation.
Dong will discuss how brands can use Tmall Global to build their business in China and provide insights into beauty trends in the country at the Beauty Tech Live Knowledge Hub. The event’s Knowledge Hub will host a series of conferences, panel discussions, talks and case studies from beauty and tech thought leaders, innovators and disruptors.
