Luxury group Kering has appointed Luca de Meo as CEO, effective September. The announcement confirms reports that emerged in recent days that de Meo would replace current CEO François-Henri Pinault.
The move sees the separation of the role of Chairman of the Board and CEO. Pinault will remain Chairman.
De Meo has 30 years of experience in the automotive industry and is currently CEO of the Renault Group
