Lancôme names Christy Turlington Burns global ambassador

Beauty brand Lancôme (L’Oréal) has named American model Christy Turlington Burns its new global ambassador.

Turlington Burns’ career as a model began in the late ’80s and she has featured in over 500 magazine covers and fashion campaigns. She is also a philanthropist, author and wellness advocate. Turlington Burns wrote, directed and produced the documentary No Woman, No Cry (2010) and later founded the nonprofit Every Mother Counts.
