Paris department store Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche (LVMH) has partnered with France-based breast cancer organization Ruban Rose’s founding members the magazine Marie Claire and Estée Lauder Companies to launch a pop-up for breast cancer awareness month.
The 350m2 (3,767.37ft2) space will be open from September 26 to October 31 in the lingerie department of the store’s first floor. For the first time, donation centers will also be installed throughout the department store, as well as at La Grande Epicerie (Rive Droite and Rive Gauche).
The pop-up, which was designed by artist Garance Vallée, is described as combining product discovery, meditation and well-being. It features products and services from Ruban Rose founders Estée Lauder Companies and Marie Claire, along with new partners like fashion designer Isabel Marant and yoga brand Yuj founder Hélène Duval. A portion of the proceeds will go towards Ruban Rose. The space will feature events, conferences and workshops led by medical experts, journalists and brand founders.
Estée Lauder Companies will offer daily discovery workshops on the theme of beauty, moderated by experts from Estée Lauder, Clinique, La Mer, Aveda, Bobbi Brown, Bumble & Bumble, Jo Malone London and Darphin.
The pop-up will also feature a lingerie area where customers can shop while also learning about yoga and meditation. Wig designer Marisol will also offer, by appointment only, hair and wig consultations. Attendees can choose to either participate in-person or online via video conference.
Fashion designer Isabel Marant designed a T-shirt that will be sold exclusively at the department store, with 100% of the profits donated to Ruban Rose.
