London Heathrow Airport will consolidate all operations to Terminals 2 and 5 over the coming weeks due to the impact of COVID-19, the airport said in a statement. The airport moved to single runway operations on April 6.
Passenger traffic decreased 52% in March, when the UK went into lockdown, compared to the same period the year prior.
Passenger demand is set to drop by some 90% in April.
