US-based department-store group Lord & Taylor is to close another five stores. As reported, the retailer said it would close 19 of its 38 locations earlier this month. The additional closures leaves 14 locations.
The department-store group filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in early August.
The company will solicit bids for a going concern sale of both its Le Tote, which acquired the retailer last year, and Lord & Taylor businesses.
