L’Oréal has named Delphine Viguier-Hovasse Chief Innovation and Prospective Officer, a new position at the group.

Viguier-Hovasse joined L’Oréal in 1997, and was most recently global head of the L’Oréal Paris brand.

Viguier-Hovasse will take on the new role on July 1, and will also join the group’s executive committee. She will report to Barbara Lavernos, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, in charge of Research, Innovation & Technology.

L’Oréal says the new position will oversee both the existing Innovation teams and the Strategic Prospective Department.
