UK-based beauty brand Lush has opened a pop-up in London centered on mindfulness and self-care.
Called the Lush Lounge, it features a gallery, massages and complimentary gifts (while stocks last) and services designed for wellness. The space offers services geared towards giving shoppers a moment of respite from what Lush calls holiday chaos. The pop-up opened December 9 in shopping mall Westfield London, White City and will be open until December 20.
Following the launch of Lush’s poetry bath bomb range, the beauty brand has partnered again with UK-based The Poetry Pharmacy to offer visitors poems. Customers can choose from a selection of scented cards within the space to reveal a poem within. Additionally, journals are scattered throughout the pop-up to offer shoppers a moment of self-reflection.
Meanwhile, the Keep It Real gallery features images from consumers’ “me time” moments. The images are described as unedited representations of how people encompass self-care into everyday routines.
At the Refresh Station customers can sample Lush body sprays, toner waters and hand creams. The space has a sink and mirrors for product sampling. The product assortment is categorized by different moods to allow visitors to connect with how they want to feel, says Lush.
In addition to the Refresh Station, the Scent Shower mimics the feeling of a shower. It is a booth that includes sensory experiences, such as sound and visuals, in addition to fragrances from Lush’s bestselling shower gels.
The pop-up also offers hand and arm massages. Following the massages, visitors are gifted massage bar samples with information on how to practice self massage.
