LVMH reveals Innovation Award winners at VivaTech

LVMH presented its Innovation Awards to three companies at a ceremony this morning during the VivaTech event, which is taking place in Paris this week. This was the ninth edition of the and for the first time, the awards recognized technology partners already working with LVMH and whose solutions demonstrate strong potential for broader deployment across brands.

The three winners out of 13 shortlisted partners were:

Best Business Prize: Kahoona, a company that worked with Maison Christian Dior to create a hyper-personalized browsing experience for unregistered visitors on the Dior website.

Best Impact Prize: Genesis, whose soil health assessment solution is being used by Moët Hennessy to guide regenerative agriculture practices in its vineyards.

Most Promising Prize: Omi, whose AI-powered 3D visual technology was used for the centenary celebrations of Guerlain’s Shalimar fragrance.

Each winner received a trophy in sterling silver and vermeil, created by Tiffany & Co.

In a discussion on stage with the three award winners, Antoine Arnault, LVMH’s Head of Image and Environment said: “Nothing will ever replace human interaction.” He added that the ultimate luxury experience remains the one offered in-store.

The award ceremony also highlighted the recently announced 10-year partnership between LVMH and Formula 1.
