Macy’s names Massimo Magni as Chief Customer and Digital Officer

US-based retailer Macy’s has named Massimo Magni Chief Customer and Digital Officer, effective August 21, reporting to Tony Spring, President and CEO-elect.

Magni’s role will involve overseeing Macy’s digital business, including the company’s e-commerce sites, mobile apps, marketplace, loyalty and gift registry programs.

Magni was most recently Senior Partner at McKinsey, co-leading McKinsey’s NeXT Commerce and the Global Leader of the Consumer Growth Practices.
