Beauty brand incubator and outsourcing company Maesa has named Piyush Jain CEO, effective today. He succeeds Gianni Pieraccioni, who is stepping down for personal reasons, says Maesa.
Jain has 20 years’ experience at Unilever in the beauty and personal-care categories. In his most recent role at Unilever, he was the Beauty & Personal Care division’s Global Brand Vice President. Prior to Maesa, Jain was CEO of personal-care company Hand in Hand.
Founded in 1997, Maesa has incubated brands including Kristin Ess, Flower Beauty, Hairitage, TPH by Taraji, Hey Humans, Anomaly and Mix:Bar. Maesa has also partnered with retailers such as Target, Dollar General, Walmart, A.S. Watson, Boots, DM, Douglas, CVS and Ulta.
The company has eight offices in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
