Beauty retailer Marionnaud Italy, a subsidiary of A.S. Watson Group, has partnered with beauty tech company Revieve to launch a digital beauty tool for suncare products.
The company says that the AI Suncare Advisor allows customers to find suncare products suited to their needs.
Via a mobile app, shoppers first enter their skin concerns and their expectations out of a sun care routine. Next, they take a photo of themselves which is then analyzed for sun exposure concerns such as hyperpigmentation, melasma, freckles and wrinkles. The tool then recommends sun care products based on the information.
