Moroccanoil launches Eurovision hair styling contest

Haircare and bodycare brand Moroccanoil has launched a competition that will see the winner be part of the hair styling team at this year’s singing contest Eurovision, taking place from May 18 to 22 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

The competition, based on the Moroccanoil and Eurovision partnership slogan “Be an original,” launched this month and is open until February 28. To participate, hair stylists can upload a one-to-three minute video showcasing their personality and experience through hair styles made with Moroccanoil products. Participants can upload on the platform of their choice, then register on the dedicated Moroccanoil site.

The winner, who will be announced on March 15, will have the opportunity to work with the Moroccanoil Professional Backstage hairdressing team at Eurovision. Also included in the prize package is a four night stay for two in Rotterdam and two VIP tickets for the semi-finals and finals, in addition to press coverage to support their hairdressing career.

Second and third place prizes include a trip to Rotterdam and show tickets.

Moroccanoil and Eurovision first partnered in 2019 at Eurovision’s show in Tel Aviv, Israel. The haircare brand will have a team of professional hair stylists backstage for Eurovision contestants, led by hairdresser and Moroccanoil global creative director Antonio Corral Calero.

In 2019, Moroccanoil secured global association and event, media and digital rights as part of a long-term partnership for the next five Eurovision contests until 2024.
