Nuxe launches eco-friendly line Nuxe Bio

French cosmetics brand Nuxe has launched the Nuxe Bio range, a collection of 10 natural, clean and sustainable skincare products.

The line’s formulas and packaging are both positioned as being eco-conscious. All products are made in France and contain at least 99% natural ingredients and 52% organic ingredients, according to the brand. The oils are 100% plant-based and the fragrances feature 100% natural ingredients.

The Nuxe Bio range is entirely vegan, having been approved and registered by charity The Vegan Society. Nuxe says it favored local and sustainable production, in addition to extracts obtained with green technologies.

The range’s packaging is manufactured in France by organic agricultural control organization Ecocert-approved factories. Nuxe used recycled materials in most of the line’s packaging: 90% recycled glass for 50ml jars and 25% to 30% for 30ml, 100ml and 15 ml jars. The decoration is also said to be eco-friendly – the brand used translucent water-based lacquering without solvent and organic screen printing on its 50ml jars. Most of the Nuxe Bio products are recyclable since most of the products feature glass packaging, while its plastic bottles (PET and PP) and cases are also recyclable.

The line includes: The Rice Oil Extract Ultimate Night Recovery Oil, the Chia Seeds Essential Antioxidant Serum, the Moringa Seeds Micellar Cleansing Water, the Citrus Cells Glow Rich Moisturizing Cream, the Buckwheat Anti-Puffiness, Anti-Dark Circle Reviving Eye Cream, the Marine Seaweed Correcting Moisturizing Fluid, the White Tea Multi-Perfecting Tinted Cream, the Sesame Seeds and Citrus Extract Radiance Detox Mask, the Fruit Stone Powder Micro-Exfoliating Cleansing Mask and the Hazlenut Replenishing Nourishing Body Oil.

The Nuxe Bio line will be available at pharmacies, parapharmacies, major department stores, spas that carry Nuxe products and on the company’s website.

The range retails between €16 and €39 and will be available in April.
